Build
Abdomen/Hips for Positions C and D (2)
Stage 1 – Side Armor for Position C
Step 1
Fit the two pins of the Support 2 Armor C (99C with the pins) into the matching holes at this location of the Side Armor Abdomen/Hips Position C (99A marked ‘L’), as shown:
Secure this Support 2 into place with one (1) IP screw:
Fit the rounded end of the Support 1 Armor C (99B marked ‘L’) between the tabs of the Side Armor, orienting it as shown:
Secure these parts together with one (1) OP screw:
Stage 3 – Side Armor for Position D
Your eyes are not deceiving you – I did these stage sections out of order to get the two Side Armor assemblies done at the same time.
Step 1
Fit the Support 2 Armor D (99F without the pins) inside the matching tabs at this location of the Side Armor Abdomen/Hips Position D (99D marked ‘R’), then secure this Support 2 into place with one (1) IP screw, as shown:
Fit the rounded end of the Support 1 Armor D (99E marked ‘R’) between the tabs of this Side Armor as shown, then secure these parts together with one (1) OP screw:
Stage 2 – Abdomen/Hips for Position C (1)
Step 1
Retrieve your two Pelvis Joint assemblies from Issue 97 and your Abdomen/Hips Position C assembly from the first part of the previous issue. Fit one of the Pelvis Joints to this Abdomen/Hips Assembly, as shown:
Make sure the square tab at the top slots into the center notch, as shown:
Secure these two sections together with one (1) QP screw:
Stage 4 – Abdomen/Hips for Position D (1)
Step 1
Retrieve your Abdomen/Hips Position D assembly from the second part of the previous issue. Fit the second Pelvis Joint to this Abdomen/Hips Assembly, as shown:
Again, make sure the square tab at the top slots into the center notch, as shown:
Secure these two sections together with one (1) QP screw:
