Abdomen/Hips for Positions C and D (1)

Before we start this issue it is important to identify the various parts correctly. I have laid them out and marked them with their part numbers and which position (C or D) they are for. I used a pen to mark them with their position letter to keep them all organized:

Stage 1 – Assembly of the Abdomen/Hips for Position C (1)
Step 1

Fit the Rear Base for Abdomen/Hips Position C (98B) into the matching slot of Rear Armor for Abdomen/Hips Position C (98A), as shown:

Secure these parts together with two (2) KP screws:

Step 2

In the same way, fit the Front Base for Abdomen/Hips Position C (98D) into the matching slot of Front Armor for Abdomen/Hips Position C (98C), as shown:

Secure these parts together with two (2) more KP screws:

Stage 2 – Assembly of the Abdomen/Hips for Position D (1)

Assembly of Position B

Stage 3 – Assembly of Action Pose B (Twisted Waist)

I always planned on displaying my Iron Man armor in the first pose (A), so I did not complete this stage. However, I will share the magazine instructions for changing your model to be in pose B. You will need your Abdomen B assembly from the previous issue:

This configuration allows your Iron Man armor to be posed like this:

Thoughts

This Position B for our Iron Man armor is very cool – it looks like he is in motion!
