Stage 1 – Assembly of the Right Shoulder Plate
Step 1
Fit the cylindrical tab of the Rear Right Shoulder Plate between the matching tabs of the Right Shoulder Plate, as shown:
Secure these parts together from this side with one (1) RP screw.
The tighter you make this screw, the harder it will be to rotate the Right Shoulder Plate. Adjust it as necessary:
Step 2
Press the pin of the Finishing Detail into the matching hole at this location on the Rear Right Shoulder Plate, noting the shape of the recess.
This will only fit flush when correctly installed, as shown:
Stage 2 – Assembly of the Right Shoulder Armor
Step 1
Retrieve your Chest assembly from the previous issue. Slide the long tab of the Right Shoulder Plate down through this right-side slot of the Chest Structure, as shown:
The hole in the long tab of the Right Shoulder Plate should be aligned to this post on the interior of the Chest Structure:
Secure the Right Shoulder Plate to the Chest Structure with one (1) EM screw.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
You should now be able to gently raise and lower the Rear Right Shoulder Plate:
Thoughts
This Rear Right Shoulder Plate ‘aileron’ feels quite delicate, so I recommend taking care when moving it into position.
