The Right Leg (4)
Stage 1 – Assembly of the Internal Leg Mechanisms
Step 1
As with the left leg, I painted these Internal Leg Mechanisms to add some color variations to them.
Retrieve your Right Leg assembly from the previous issue. Press the two pins of the Internal Leg Mechanism (61A) into the matching holes at this location of the Circuit Board, as shown.
These holes are different sizes to ensure the correct orientation:
Step 2
Press the D-shaped pin of the Internal Leg Mechanism (61B) into the matching hole at this location of the Circuit Board, as shown:
Step 3
Finally, press the end pins of the Internal Leg Mechanism (61C) into these matching holes of the Support Frame, as shown.
We used a Molotow Chrome Pen on the thinner shaft of this part to give it that ‘hydraulic ram’ shine:
Thoughts
We have now finished the details of this Lower Leg and can move on to the armor plates that will cover them.
