The Right Knee Joint (2)
Stage 1 – Gear and Spring
Retrieve your Right Knee assembly from the previous stage. Fit the Right Ring Rotating Ring over Right Knee Gear Ring we installed in the previous issue, meshing the teeth of the two parts together as shown:
Slide the Spring onto the post so it rests on the Ring for Left Knee Mechanism, as shown:
Stage 2 – Applying the Adhesive Tab
Remove the backing paper from a piece of the Adhesive Tape, then stick it to the edge of the Washer as shown:
Remove the backing paper from the other side of the Adhesive Tape:
Stage 2 – Positioning the Joint
Fit this Washer (with the Adhesive Tape facing down) inside this circular recess of the Lower Knee Joint for Right Knee, as shown:
Fit this Lower Knee Joint over the Spring as shown. This will remain loose until secured in a later issue:
We have done all of this before with the first knee joint, so nothing new here.
