Build

The Left Leg (6)

Stage 1 – Fitting the Upper Leg Plate
Step 1

Peel the backing paper from an Adhesive Sticker and stick it onto this location inside the Upper Leg Plate:

Then, remove the second backing paper to expose the other adhesive surface, as shown:

Step 2

Retrieve your Left Leg assembly from Issue 42. Gently spread the side of the Upper Leg Plate and ‘snap’ it over the back of the calf section, as shown:

Step 3

Secure this Upper Leg Plate into place with two (2) EM screws, one on each side.

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

Stage 2 – Fitting the Side Plate
Steps 1-2

Press the pins of the Right Side Plate (marked ‘L1’) into the right side of the Upper Leg Plate, covering the screw as shown:

In the same way, press the pins of the Left Side Plate (marked ‘L2’) into the left side of the Upper Leg Plate, as shown:

Thoughts

As these legs grow in size, we are getting a good idea of how tall our Iron Man model will be. Keep the unused Cap for Hip Joint safe as it will be needed in a later issue.
