The Left Leg (2)

Stage 1 – Joining the Thigh, Knee, and Lower Leg
Step 1

Retrieve your Left Thigh assembly from Issue 38 and your Left Shin assembly from the previous issue. Align the tab of the Lower Knee Joint over the matching posts of the Left Shin, as shown:

Step 2

Secure the Lower Knee Joint to the Left Shin with two (2) IM screws.

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

Stage 1 – Joining the Leg to the Foot
Steps 1-2

Retrieve your Left Foot assembly from Issue 35. Fit the Lower Left Leg over these posts of the Left Shin assembly.

NOTE: You may notice extra wiring in the pictures below. These are part of my custom Central Lighting mod:

Step 3

Then, fit the Inner Leg Support Plate over the same posts and secure the Inner Leg Support Plate to the Left Shin with three (3) EM screws, capturing the Lower Left Leg in between:

Thoughts


The unused Inner Leg Support Frame will be installed in the next issue, so keep it nearby for now. I will say that it is great to see the leg starting to take shape. Our Iron Man is finally growing again!
