Stage 1 – Positioning the Instep Protector
Steps 1-2
Fit the T-post of the Instep Protector into this matching groove inside the Left Shin Guard, as shown:
Stage 1 – Fixing the Hinge Bracket
Steps 1-2
Fit the Hinge Bracket over the T-post as shown, and secure the Hinge Bracket into place with one (1) AM screw.
This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:
Once installed, this Instep Protector should be able to rotate away from the Left Shin Guard:
Thoughts
After a long multi-month delay waiting for Issues 39-42, I am happy to be back building my Iron Man. Thankfully, I have the next four months of parts here ready to go, so expect many updates soon!
