“In this issue, you continue the assembly of the left arm with two covers for the upper arm. This assembly is connected to the shoulder joint.”

This issue is exactly the same as Issue 12, just with the Left Arm parts of the model.

Materials: Both Arm Covers are metal and the Protective Adhesive Stickers are vinyl.

  • The History of Iron Man – A New Hero: War Machine Flies Solo
  • Step by Step – Model Instructions
  • In the Comics – Pepper Potts: He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not
  • The Armor – Outer Atmospheric Armor: A Duel in Space

The Left Arm (1)

Stage 1 – Placing the Adhesive Stickers
Step 1

Using tweezers, affix an Protective Adhesive Sticker to the Outer Arm Cover, as shown.

These vinyl stickers provide a slick surface that will prevent damage to the arm while adjusting the joint position:

In the same way, affix another Adhesive Sticker to the Inner Arm Cover, as shown:

Stage 2 – Connecting the Elbow to the Upper Arm
Step 1

Retrieve your Left Forearm assembly from Issue 19 and fit the exposed tab onto this post of the Outer Arm Cover, as shown:

Step 2

Secure the Left Forearm assembly to the Outer Arm Cover with one (1) EM screw.

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

Stage 3 – Positioning the Shoulder Joint
Step 1

Retrieve your Left Shoulder Joint and Securing Plate from the previous issue. Slide the Securing Plate over this post on the end of the Shoulder Joint, as shown:

Step 2

Slide this end of the Left Shoulder Joint into the matching slot of the Outer Arm Cover, as shown:

Secure the Securing Plate to the Outer Arm Cover with two (2) EM screws, capturing the Left Shoulder Joint into place as shown:

Stage 4 – Finishing the Left Arm (Part 1)
Step 1

Fit the Inner Arm Cover to the Outer Arm Cover, as shown:

Step 2

Secure the Inner Arm Cover to the Outer Arm Cover with two (2) EM screws:

This Left Arm is now nearly complete – we only have only one small detail to add in the next issue.
