The Left Forearm (3) and Elbow
Retrieve your Left Forearm assembly from the previous issue. Press the three pins of the Left Forearm Cover into the matching holes of the Left Forearm (Inner), as shown.
This is a press-fit and does not require any screws:
Press the two pins of each Round Cover into the matching holes on either side of the Elbow Cover.
This is not mentioned in the instructions, but these Round Covers are marked ‘L1’ and ‘L2’:
In the same way. the sides of the Elbow Cover are also marked ‘L1’ and ‘L2’ to indicate which Round Cover goes on which side. The two pins of the Round Covers are different sizes to ensure these are fitted the correct way. Once installed, the black grooves on the Round Covers should both be facing the same direction, as shown:
Press the square socket of the Elbow Cover onto the square post of the Left Elbow assembly, as shown.
Make sure this is installed correctly – the black grooves of the Round Covers should be pointing towards the Left Forearm:
Just moving right along building the Left Forearm. I am still impressed by the large amount of metal used in this model!
